What better example for women’s equality than having founding director Trudy Hart, a German ten-pound Aussie immigrant in 1969, forge the path for future generations. Two generations later, daughter Michele, is now Director / Operations Manager, while granddaughter Bridget is heading Design & Marketing.
In a bygone time when most women were stay-at-home mothers, Trudy worked with her husband Ken to lay the foundations of KTR to become the business it is today. Moving forward 50 years and we can see that these foundations are firmly embedded in the company culture. KTR has been an ongoing leader in offering leadership roles within the organization for women and offering a flexible work environment to support their growth personally and professionally. Today the company employs a nearly 50/50 ratio of gender and cultural diversity in leadership roles and is proud of its underpinned heritage of business culture.
The new generation looks forward to the next phase, as it strives to continue to implement and drive the business to meet KTR clients’ requirements while upholding the company ethos. “Leading the way in Security and Healthcare.”
